Lavender Infused Almond Smoothie

This is my attempt to bring together all of my favorite juicy-lady ingredients. Both sesame and almonds were highly revered for their core-vitality building properties, as they both build the bones minerals.  Lavender cools and calms the nervous system. This is a great morning smoothie, although it can be taken as a snack throughout the day.


Servings: 1

  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 3 Tbs. white or black sesame seeds
  • 1 c Almond Milk
  • 1/16 tsp dried lavender buds


Roast the sesame seeds in a pan. Grind the seeds and the lavender buds in a coffee grinder.

Add the maple syrup and almond milk to a blender. Pour in the saffron water and the ground sesame-lavender mixture. Blend and serve.

    Cool Post, I want to make my own bath salts, using lavender oil and dried flowers, but need to know the quantities of each component, amounts of epsom salt, sea salt, amount of lavender oils (and which is not harmful to the skin) etc. etc………
