This is my attempt to bring together all of my favorite juicy-lady ingredients. Both sesame and almonds were highly revered for their core-vitality building properties, as they both build the bones minerals. Lavender cools and calms the nervous system. This is a great morning smoothie, although it can be taken as a snack throughout the day.
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- 3 Tbs. white or black sesame seeds
- 1 c Almond Milk
- 1/16 tsp dried lavender buds
Roast the sesame seeds in a pan. Grind the seeds and the lavender buds in a coffee grinder.
Add the maple syrup and almond milk to a blender. Pour in the saffron water and the ground sesame-lavender mixture. Blend and serve.
